Pavel Doronin

Pavel Doronin, a UK-based musician, has been active since the mid-'90s. After years of releasing music and performing live under various monikers, he now records under his own name — a deliberate reset that marks a new chapter focused on introspective ambient soundscapes. Built from minimalist motifs, field recordings and time-bending textures, his work unfolds like a slow-burn inner monologue: quiet detail, emotional weight, and space to think.

His new EP, "Dill", is built from field recordings and tactile ambient textures, inspired by the scents of his mother's cooking — fragments of memory stretched into slow, immersive pieces. The release continues his shift from earlier indie projects towards more experimental territory, and follows last year's collaborative single "Seagull" with pianist Aliya Lark.
